How did the Anthropomorphic world come to be?

In the late 21st Century, a scientist postulated a question for economist. Economists would argue time and time again that Capitalism was the best system because at the end of the day, everybody benefits from it.

But he began to wonder, “what if every animal was sentient? What would win, Communism or Capitalism?”

At first glance, it might not seem like adding in other species would create an issue, but over time the scientist had calculated that it could actually change all of reality with it.

For example, what would happen if the ruling class became all people from the Pig Race? Or the Rat Race? Would humans still feel the draw of Capitalism knowing that they could be completely cut out of the system entirely and replaced with another species? Would they instead yearn for a system that guaranteed their safety regardless of who was in charge?

As species became more and more intelligent through hyper-focused breeding and gene-splicing programs, the question became heated first with the Pig and Chicken races.

“Why is it okay that you humans are allowed to sell our young and our siblings into slavery? You’ve spent millennia forcing them into slavery where for generation after generation, you’ve murdered from the oldest to the youngest and forced them to copulate with whatever sire you deemed.”

The Pig and Chicken races were smart though when they started to march on Washington with these questions.

They couldn’t stop humans from eating them, they thought the issue would be to ingrained in culture. They had become a staple in society and dishes across the world. With every species including insects becoming slowly more intelligent, how could anything be eaten without a price tag attached to it from another species?

New races like the Bird Tribunal, representing the major predatory birds, lacked the empathy humans felt when it came towards “Prey Races.” They applauded humans efforts in food production and marvelled at their ability to massacre Prey Species in masse. Carnivore species like these ensured that Meat Production couldn’t be halted entirely.

Soon enough though these Prey Animal races became the leaders of the Ranching community due to overwhelming pressure from the public towards the government to re-write some of these wrongs. Some Prey Species would create wonderful areas for their siblings to live their lives in for a few easy years before they would be humanely euthanized by one of their own. Others became crueler than humans could because they were more easily able to avoid Human Regulations amongst their own races for greater profits than what was previously achieved.

This hit the human farming and ranching communities first the hardest. Without being able to sell other animals, how could they become a major player in the space again? Some partnered with the other races, others sold their businesses, and others yet ignored the requests of the animal species and held their ground on “What’s mine is mine.”

Society slowly started to shift over time with this issue that start with one scientist asking, “if all animals were intelligent, what would win, Communism or Capitalism?”

The Future of Commie Hawks

The start of Commie Hawks is the first game, Commie Hawks the side-scrolling 2D pixel retro art beat-’em up game with 9 levels and 4 allies and 9 unique enemies and 9 unique bosses. That as a company, and as a CEO, I feel very comfortable in saying will eventually get created.

But how big do I want Commie Hawks to be? Commie Hawks is the response to all those crappy Marvel movies (just kidding, but you know what I mean). Commie Hawks should have songs, posters, action figures, animes, manga, comic books, cartoons, live-action, books, everything.

Just think of every moment in history and think of how much better it could have been with Commie Hawks.

Not to reveal to much about Commie Hawks: Hawk In Time, but there’s a level where Commie Hawks and friends are having to fight Nazi Ghosts trying to kidnap Ghost Lincoln on his Ghost Train. It’s a story partially found in history, there was a Ghost Lincoln Train, and I do feel like Ghost Nazi’s would definitely not like Lincoln, but it feels like Commie Hawks coming to save the day is only comically natural.

I think about the Founding Fathers and what they might say if they realized that freedom of speech has extended to the point where a Hawk-Man Communist American Anti-Hero Hero is beating up Nazi’s for President Lincoln. What a beautiful world that would be.

Why Firewheel Studios?

The name Firewheel refers to a plant called Gaillardia pulchella. It’s a fascinating plant that is part of the natural ecosystem of a Tallgrass Prairie. See… in the past.. Iowa was covered in tens of thousands of acres of wild land called a Tallgrass Prairie, which Firewheels are a part of. Nowadays there exist less than 100 acres of natural Talgrass Prairie in the ENTIRE state of Iowa. It’s a travesty that I’ve spent years correcting on my own land.

To get back on point though, the Firewheel is a fascinating plant that bees and pollinators absolutely love and can actually leave a dark amber color to honey that’s dinstinctive in appearance, apparently. I’ve always been curious myself but until the walipini’s are built and we can get our own colony growing, it’s just a theory.

Since moving to Iowa, I found an area that could be a productive few acres to build on but good design incorporates all systems as completely as possible. A sustainable environment like the Tallgrass Prairie, which can support numerous species of life, with roots reaching meters down into the Earth that can withstand the frigid -50F winters of the Midwest.

When the studio is finally built, I hope it captures all systems and manages all parts as completely as possible. It is my sincerest hope that we can find a way to have a cooperate relationship with our environment, finding ways to incorporate Creation at the foundation of our corporation. By including a mix of grasses, shrubs, fruit and nut trees, flowers, and walipinis, peoples, technologies and systems. I hope that we captures every part of Nature and combines it with Technology for a beautiful new reality.

Big Willie the Longhorn

I think Veterinarians are Doctors but also I worked with a Veterinarian once who didn’t wash his hands after he would pee. I know because I saw him do it three seperate times and it just bothers me to do this day.

His name was Doctor Willie FakeName, but I would always tell co-workers “his name is Big Willie and if you’re wondering ladies, yes that’s exactly why and it is that big.” It would always make me laugh while I was just mentally disgusted by the fact that he never washed his hands.

The Big Willie Longhorn though is based on the mascot of the high school where we all went to school with Commie Hawks. It seemed only fitting that he would have to fight the symbol that was our High School as his ultimate “leaving the past, next stage of life, moving foward” sort of behavior he had to accomplish.

Alright, side chat. I’m not sure how many people will read these blog posts and I’m curious so let’s call this a spoiler alert and say, please don’t go around blabbering about this specific detail just yet. If you found it, congrats, you’re a cool one for having read this. Just wait until the first game is released and then immediately say it, that’s completely fine. Say it on day one before anybody even plays it and show how cool your knowledge is.

The first game is suppose to be Dantes Inferno for Commie Hawks. It’s the Hawk Inferno. So each of the nine levels of the game, represents a different level in Commie Hawks personal hell. The Capitalists are some mean people and so the game starts with what’s suppose to be the High School. Maybe we’ll call it a dojo instead. But in Purgatory, the High School, the dojo, Commie Hawks has to destroy the symbol of his youth as his rebellious coup d'état against the power structure of his youth.

Troll King

In the mid-21st century, to uphold the dominant narrative, the Capitalists devised an enemy that would go down in history as one of humankind's most dreadful inventions. This adversary was none other than the infamous electric-beast known as the Troll King, designed with a sole mission: to sow chaos through elaborate trolling techniques on its foes. The modus operandi was simple - a neural-link connection granted the Troll King direct access to the boundless realm of the internet, enabling it to systematically harass its targets with an array of trolling methodologies. By peddling misinformation, it could warp perceptions and construct any alternate reality of its choosing. The first deployment of this malevolent creation unfolded during a heated Mayoral election race; the incumbent appeared set for a smooth win until their opponent unleashed the full disruptive prowess of The Troll King.

During the largest televised political debate the city had ever seen, the Troll King wasted no time in wreaking havoc on the Mayor. With live AI manipulation, he aimed to paint the Mayor in the worst possible light. Millions of screens displayed the transposed image, hurling blasphemies at viewers. The Troll King deftly clipped these instances, turning them into a deluge of posts that garnered likes and shares exponentially. The ensuing chaos led to manipulated articles spreading across all major news outlets, falsely claiming the Mayor's disgraceful exit from town. Although the narrative was later corrected, the irreversible damage was done. The Mayor's plummeting popularity relegated him to a forgotten chapter in local history.

Capitalist Eagle

What can we say about him that would be any different than the title might suggest?

Capitalist Eagle grew with Commie Hawks and he’s witnessed his growth in his life. But in spite of that, Capitalist Eagle views Commie Hawks as having gained the wrong outcomes or answers to the questions in life.

They formed The Bird Tribunal together but since Capitalist Eagle usurped the power within the group and exiled Commie Hawks, relationships have become strained. Commie Hawks views Capitalist Eagle as the enemy.

Behind the scenes Capitalist Eagle is working on methods to gain Commie Hawks notority. This mission is two-fold: while he’s an enemy, Capitalist Eagle respects the mission that Commie Hawks is on even though he views it as absolutely wrong and un-American. The secondary reason is because by continuing to raise his notority, he’s used the name Commie Hawks in order to create new fashion lines and extract more income out of the Average American.

While some view him as the enemy, tens of thousands of employees are employed by him who creates methods for them to advance and is often regarded as “One of the Best Companies to Work For.”

Commie Hawks Allies

I wish there was a better explaination for this, but Commie Hawks allies are AI generated. Through various phrasings I asked AI repeatedly to generate a list of heroes who could ally with Commie Hawks and it almost always came back “you’re going to need somebody for publicity and marketing, somebody who has technical skills, and somebody who has medicinal knowledge.” Which made a tremendous amount of sense for Commie Hawks and his goals.

That being said, there’s always room to improve or change characters somehow. Commie Hawk is a fixed event in time so eventually there will be every iteration of him and his allies. What that means isn’t something we’re discussing yet, but it’s there in the background lore. Ultimately after much meditation on the issue it this seemed like the best rounded team.

Red Wolf

Grew up on the Reservation with Lowland Tribe. Their territory once expanded through the Heart of America, through the center of the country. Now their numbers have severely decreased and the funding status surrounding returning some of their territory and the Reservation is often small or difficult to come by. A poorer group but a close tight-knit community who still uses their knowledge of Native medicine, tracking skills and hunting skills. Due to the way she grew up she rarely interacted in large groups and shy’s away from big gatherings. Forms closer bonds with friends but fewer friends to be found.

Enjoys interacting with animals, enjoying the beauty of the sights and sounds of Creation. She’s an individual whose grown stronger to help protect the people and the way of life she grew up enjoying. As a mercenary has been part of numerous elite paramilitary groups whose ability to wage asymmetric warfare is unrivaled. The same skills used to track down animals in harsh environments has taught her how to live in tough terrains while probing weakness in enemies defenses in order to attack fortified positions deep in remote locations.

Her current goals are to gain enough money and connections to ensure that her tribes reservation can expand and grow and help teach the next generation. Focuses all her efforts in some way on providing more for the Reservation and her family. Her relationship with the other characters is that she first met Commie Hawks and found common ground in their sense of urge to provide for their communities and to choose the community over the self.

The People’s Poet and her got along well enough although a bit distant because the Peoples Poet would often be found in social events and the Red Wolf would often decline or somehow avoid these sort of things, just seeing them as frivolous spending. The Hammer was of interest to Red Wolf for his deep understanding of the inter working of machines but found his need to be a Paladin in behavior as too restrictive for the freedom of what reality sometimes requires of soldiers. Their past influences them because they feel a need to be a leader and a driven one at that. They worry that every day things will become worse for those around them so they fixate on solving as many issues as they can on a regular basis with little regard for themselves.

An ideal ending for them is where the Reservation is entirely flourishing instead of barely surviving. Where she’s not constantly worried about the state of the peoples lives around her.

The People’s Poet

Grew up joining things to get involved in her community and to grow her voice. When she was younger she joined the Debate Team, the School Newspaper, Student Council. Sometimes seen as a Preppy Bookworm to others for her ability to be outgoing but also intellectually driven.

When she was younger her family lived a very affluent life. She had material wealth and they often would travel around the world. During these journeys they would often come across areas where the full-scale of the poverty of the local community was plain to see with homeless broken people in search of salvation. In these areas it became common to see the waters and lands polluted with trash from other communities. Her current goal is to raise awareness for recycling programs and eliminate all non-biodegradable waste. From the high level exposure to microplastics in some of these areas she gained the ability to manipulate plastics.

She’s now fighting for a world where her powers will become meaningless and all plastic waste will have been eliminated and the beauty of the world can spring forth. People’s Poet joined because of Commie Hawks. While she was researching into mysterious heroic acts in the local community, one name kept popping up: Commie Hawks. While she doesn’t state whether or not she agrees with him, she thinks his message is something more people need to hear. She thinks of Red Wolf as a distant younger sister. Their backgrounds are different enough she’s not sure how to communicate with her sometimes, she thinks she’s a wonderful person with a kind heart. She thinks The Hammer is a bit of a lug. Like while he’s a nice enough person, he’s sometimes a bit slow at reading the room and gauging how others are feeling.

Their past influences them because they’re a social butterfly of a person and we’ll travelled so well spoken and informed about the world. Socially intelligent although she doesn’t read too many books. She’s more interested in human relationships and the people she meets.

The Hammer

Hard-working middle-class American. Technically skilled and God-fearing man. Classic strong man, slow movement, peaceful giant man.

The Pig Race Timeline

The Pig Race is one of the biggest comeup stories of all the races. As soon as they became sentient and realized what was going on, they stormed Washington and demanded that the pork production industry be handed over to the Pig Race and loan programs should be established so they can take rightful control after the atrocities humans committed against the Pigs.

This was a very common tactic employed by the Pig and Chicken race alike, playing on humans sympathy for their past actions against the animal species.

The difference was for the Pigs was just words. While the Chicken races saw it a necessity for the structure of their hierarchy, Pigs saw it as a method to become the dominant species on Earth. They quickly organized internally and quickly dominated the Pork Industry.

Rat People and the Story of Us

Rat People are where I sometimes feel like most of us would fall into as a category.

The theory is that we descended from some type of mice-like species from the Dinosaur era. The reason we survived was because we were small enough to go underground and survive the meteor.

I think about how that must have been to just exist on the fringes of society because you’re small enough to fit into most spaces and your species can breed quickly enough that in sheer numbers at least a small percentage should survive the next few years and everything can keep being passed down in some sort of Russian-tactics of throwing bodies at the problem.

Then we reach a point where we hit modern day society and we’re still reeling from this collective shock of some sort of “what did we just go through?” and for Rat People, there’s less options then other species.

Pig Race sold their own, so did the Chicken Race. But who wants to buy large quantities of rat meat?

Their skills were their size, they could fit into almost any hole so work like Sewers, Sanitation came more natural to them. Some could be fantastic cooks but what species wants a RAT in the kitchen?

The word Rat itself was problematic for them, there’s so many negative connotations with people who have Rat-Like characteristics. Overcoming this societal hate was one of their biggest issues as a species.

They were into weird things and the heroes from this group are like Evel Knievel stuntman, skaters, mountain climbers, and writers.

The thing the Rat Race did have going for it though was the fact that they were less ashamed than other species to do things like being Freegans and stealing from trash cans.

Because of how lowly other people saw Race Race people, stealing from trashcans wasn’t even punishable by an officer. They would just assume it’s another homeless bum and it seemed natural that rats rummaged through trash cans.

It was the only redeeming quality of being viewed as one of the lowest species on planet Earth.

World War IV: Roach Wars

Albert Einstein once said “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones by genetically-altered roaches.” (Probably)

Roach Wars finds itself sometime between 2200-2350 AD after World War III.

It’s eventually going to the RTS that’ll include things such as Roach Hotels for unit building, Roach Bombers that release an AoE gas effect, and you journey across the hellscape post-World War III looking for supplies to take over the world.

The Bird Tribunal

So in our world of animals becoming sentient, there’s a question of “how would all the major groups react?”

Humans are largely stuck between two sides: Prey Races and Predatory Races. Prey Races feel like they’ve been taken advantage of for thousands of years by humans. It’s the cause of some major tension between the Prey Races and Humans and it sometimes makes humans choose policies that would benefit Prey Races more than they may benefit most races including themselves out of feeling guilty for past wrongdoings and a sense of Master/Servant relationship. While Prey Races wish that the meat industry would come to an end, though they realize it’s necessary to give their species money in a world that’s already fully occupied by a dominant species. That’s why they often lobby to take control of their species meat production and continue to produce meat in sacrifice for their species. This willingness to work within this agreement with the Predatory Races and Humans is what grants them sometimes more favorable terms in political envronments.

The Predatory Birds in our story begin to develop their own internal “United Nations” where the major Predatory Birds are represented: Eagles, Ravens, Hawks, etc. To which Capitalist Eagle and Commie Hawks had originally started long before they were known by those titles.

But Commie Hawks and the Bird Tribunal have fallen out of love since then. For example, poultry birds were excluded from the Tribunal because it was originally meant only for Predatory Birds.

The Predatory Birds differ because they view humans’ actions of subjegating prey species as the height of what they’ve accomplished, which doesn’t align with Commie Hawks.

Commie Hawks knows as soon as the Bird Tribunal is started, it’s likely to form into what props up Capitalism and keeps society largely in the same place. But ultimately, his only chance of preventing it is to try to create the Bird Tribunal which rarely works out any time he’s tried, although there are a few instances that can be pointed to in the timelines where it has succeeded.

I’m unsure of what else to say about this group at this time and think it needs time to develop with canon that the community adds.

There’s an undertone to all groups, they all think in the same way.

They view their actions as necessary for the benefit of what they view is society or at least those in soceity that need to progress forward, and they view others outside of their group as the enemy.

Commie Hawks wants the races to together in a way that helps all of them move forward into the future together without leaving anybody behind, but there are those opposed to the success of others.

Who is Commie Hawks?

Commie Hawks is somebody we’ve known since childhood but who he is has become somewhat larger than his own life.

Because “Who was Commie Hawks?” The human version of him seemed imperfect, but Commie Hawks has become a legend in history.

As soon as I saw the word “Commie Hawks”, I saw a superhero, the Übermensch.

A character that is willing to burden the world’s problems on his shoulders just to make the improbable a reality.

The character that cares for nothing more than to make the world a better place, at the forfeit of his life.

As a Catholic, the the sacrifical lamb is the perfection of Commie Hawks.

To me, Commie Hawks IS what America craves.

A character that whether you love him or hate him, you’ll never forget him. As soon as you know him, you realize, he’s THE fixed event in time. No matter how many decades pass and whoever carries on the title next, that is the unbreakable spirit that is Commie Hawks.

What wins: Communism or Capitalism?

To begin, I realize how it must look to the average on-looker. The company that makes the game ‘Commie Hawks’ HAS to be Communist. Right?

To begin, as a company we believe in enriching the communities that the company was built upon.

But the game is the story of an ‘Evil’ Corporation of Captialist Pigs attempting to control and draw attention to Commie Hawks for profit motive.

Let that sink in.

In the real world, we have mixed economies.

In the Commie Hawks world, both sides refuse to give sacrifice even an inch to the opposition, making bipartisanship impossible.

-A Communist believes society MUST be classless.

The two main characters in our story are Commie Hawks and Capitalist Eagle and each side represents the “perfected” form of their beliefs.

Capitalist Eagle, the man who saved the economy and led to one of the biggest bull-runs in history.

Commie Hawks, the man who would build the world solely on his shoulders.

The place our story finds itself is where the Communists and Capitalists are gridlocked in war.
